Keller Williams Arizona Realty Arranges 2023 Scholarship Presentation for Real Estate to Scottsdale Community College Student

 

(Scottsdale, Arizona May 6, 2023): Keller Williams Arizona Realty gave a 2023 scholarship presentation for real estate in the amount of $500 to Sydney Brown, a student at Scottsdale Community College. The presentation was given during a real estate job fair for students. The College’s Business School hosted the job fair on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Sydney submitted her qualifying application along with several other applicants. Representatives from both Keller Williams Arizona Realty and Scottsdale Community College serve on the scholarship review committee. The review committee members agree that Sydney’s entry is the clear winner among several entries.

 

David Morse, CEO/Team Leader at Keller Williams Arizona Realty, emphasizes that diversity is an important part of the Keller Williams company. “Our culture and belief system include equity as a major point. Therefore we believe everyone deserves opportunities,” Morse states. “As Sydney pursues her education in the field of real estate, we look forward to seeing her achieve all of her goals and dreams.”

 

2023 Scholarship Presentation: Criteria

 

The criteria for the Keller Williams Arizona Realty Scholarship include:

  • Students must qualify for in-county tuition.
  • Scholarship applicants must demonstrate financial need in their essay.
  • Current enrollment in Scottsdale Community College’s Real Estate: Prelicense Certificate of Completion (CCL) program, which includes REA201 and REA290AH.
  • Students who reside in Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, and Chandler receive preference.
  • Members of an underrepresented group in real estate, such as Indigenous, Hispanic, Black, Other [e.g. person with a disability, LGBTQIA+] are encouraged to apply.
  • Scholarship winners must be eligible to legally become a licensed real estate agent in Arizona according to Arizona Department of Real Estate regulations located at https://azre.gov/licensees/original-licensing-information.
